Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Nilelor. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and — importantly — our Medical Disclaimer.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Nilelor, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Nilelor.

2. Eligibility

Nilelor is intended for qualified doctors and medical students aged 18 or over. By using it, you confirm that you meet this.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person; do not share your account or let anyone else use it. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Your licence to use Nilelor

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Nilelor for your own examination preparation. This licence does not allow any other use.

5. Your contributions

When you submit feedback, issue reports, or other input, you grant Nilelor a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it to operate and improve the service. Only submit material you have the right to share, and never submit real patient-identifying information.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • copy, scrape, republish, or redistribute Nilelor’s content;
  • reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the underlying content or code;
  • access the service through automated means;
  • share content with, or resell it to, non-users;
  • or otherwise misuse the service in a way that harms Nilelor or its users.

7. Intellectual property

Nilelor’s questions, explanations, and editorial material are original works protected by copyright. Your licence (Section 4) is for personal study only; all rights not expressly granted are reserved. Examination names belong to their respective colleges — Nilelor is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

8. Pricing

Nilelor is currently free to use during its preview. If paid plans are introduced, we will update these terms and tell you before any charge applies.

9. Termination

You may stop using Nilelor and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. On termination, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Medical disclaimer

Nilelor is an educational tool — not medical advice and not a clinical decision-making aid. Our full Medical Disclaimer forms part of these terms and is the most important text here. Please read it.

11. No warranties

Nilelor is provided “as is”. While we work hard on quality, we do not warrant that content is free of errors, complete, or current, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nilelor and its operator are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any clinical decision made in reliance on Nilelor content. See the Medical Disclaimer.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Nilelor and its operator against claims arising from your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. We will try to resolve any dispute with you directly and in good faith; disputes that cannot be resolved that way fall to the courts of Ghana.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Nilelor evolves. We will update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
